Why Machu Picchu?
Where we got married
I could start by saying why not, but that is not the case.
We wanted to go to Machu Picchu and for me (Ken) it was one of the places I have always wanted to see and photograph. Originally it was not our intention to get married there. We had talked about going and had begun checking the details.
The closer we got to our wedding date the better this location looked for a honeymoon. Shortly after that it was decided to get marred on or as close to the ruins as possible. As it turned out, we stayed (and got married) at the Sanctuary Lodge right next to the entrance to the ruins. Look at their web site for some beautiful pictures or, if you wish, please stop by and take a look at our photographs too.
